A building in Kelowna was rescued from flames last night.

Firefighters were called at about 10:35 pm last night after reports of a structure ablaze in the 2300 block of Hwy 97N.

“On scene, the first arriving officer confirmed the building had flames on the outside of the front of the building,” Platoon Captain Dennis Miller said.

“Quick action from the crew quickly knocked the fire down and limited the spread.”

The flames were contained to the outside of the building, Miller added.

Firefighters will be investigating the cause of the fire today.
