There’s still time to get your tickets for the fun-packed Kelowna Fan Experience this weekend.

The yearly event – being held for the sixth time – will feature films, cabaret, cosplay, pop performance, animation and all things gaming.

It runs from Friday to Sunday at the Kelowna Community Theatre.

“This year’s event is highly anticipated by our returning fans and new patrons that are just discovering our incredible pop culture experience, which is part fringe festival, part comic con,” KFX artistic director Bonnie Gratz said.

Among the stars attending the event are Tara Strong (Powerpuff Girls, Teen Titans, Harley Quinn), Sharron Matthews (Mean Girls, Hairspray, Frankie Drake Mysteries) and Mark Meer (Mass Effect).

There will also be a series of film screenings, including a cast and crew premiere of Daughter of the World.

Filmed in Kelowna and West Kelowna, the movie stars Richard Dreyfuss and Gina Carano.

The event also promises plenty of big prizes for cosplay, make-up, gaming and lip sync competitions.

Families can also take their little ones to enjoy the LEGO building contest.
