Kelowna man arrested for allegedly breaking into downtown business

A local man was arrested over the weekend after tripping the commercial alarm of a downtown Kelowna business.

The RCMP received a report of the 41-year-old being unlawfully inside a business in the 400 block of Bernard Avenue around 4:40 am on Saturday.
 

Officers immediately attended the scene and found the man inside.

He was arrested without incident.

He’s since been released from custody on conditions for a future court date and the matter will be forwarded to the BC Prosecution Service for review.
