UPDATE: Kelowna man found safe more than 2 weeks after he was last seen

(UPDATE: Dec. 11 @ 12:55 pm) - William Williams is no longer a missing person.

The 63-year-old, who also goes be the names Bill or Bear, has been found, says the Kelowna RCMP.

Williams was last seen leaving his residence on Nov. 24, 2019 and was reported missing five days later.

(Original story: Nov. 24 @ 1:45 pm) - The Kelowna RCMP have made a public appeal to help locating missing resident William Williams.

Williams, who also goes by the names Bill or Bear, was last seen leaving his residence on Nov. 24, 2019.

The 63-year-old has failed to return since then.

Williams is described as a 6’2”, 300 lbs Caucasian man with grey hair, brown eyes, a full beard and glasses.

He frequently uses a cane or walker.

"Police are concerned for William’s well-being," said Cst. Solana Paré. “His friends report that it is out of character for him to be out of contact for this long."
