A group of Kelowna residents was out protesting COVID-19 restrictions once again on Saturday.

Between 150 and 200 people congregated at Stuart Park in the self-described "mega rally."

Numerous individuals brought signs to the rally. One read "Freedom is essential" while another said "spread facts, not fear."

Despite the big crowd, it didn't appear as though anyone in attendance was wearing a mask.

The group was also seen driving down Hwy 97 with Canadian and British Columbian flags.

NowMedia is looking for more information on the event.
