Kelowna’s annual winter market and light up is set to return to Stuart Park this weekend.

Residents can get into the holiday spirit by attending this free, family-friendly event that is sure to offer something for all ages.

The Downtown Kelowna Association says this year's market will feature over 50 artisan and market vendors offering unique, local food, beverages and products.

The market is happening on Saturday from 11 am to 6 pm, with the annual tree light up starting at 4:45 pm.

Bring the kids to write a letter to Santa, enjoy live entertainment, sip some hot chocolate (by donation to our local food bank), go for a skate and stroll through the market.

Live music will be performed by the Zamboni Brothers, Kinshira, Mitch Zorn, Dane Bateman, UBCO Beats and Shayla Allison.

Not only can the kids write letters to Santa but he will also be making a special appearance for pictures, but you're encouraged to book ahead to guarantee a spot.

There are a few road closures in place to accommodate the large event, which you can learn more about here.

Check out the DKA website for more information on the Downtown Kelowna Winter Street Market.
