Kelowna’s longest running morning show celebrates 15 years on-air

Waking up before 4 a.m. isn’t easy, but there’s a couple in the Okanagan that has done it for 15 years straight.

Andy & TJ in the Morning is Kelowna’s longest running radio morning show is celebrating 15 years on EZ Rock 101.5.

The couple, who married in 2009, is in every weekday before the sun rises to prep their show, which runs from 5:30 a.m. until 10 a.m.
 

Known for their natural conversational style and quick wit, the duo has received numerous accolades for their work, including multiple Best of the Okanagan Awards and the Paul Harris Fellowship Award.

“Andy and TJ’s infectious energy and dedication to the community have made them household names in the Okanagan,” said Jeff Winskell, Bell Media’s program director for the region.

“On behalf of everyone at EZ Rock 101.5, I congratulate them both on 15 wonderful years at the station.”

Aside from providing a popular radio show every morning, Andy and TJ have also immersed themselves in the local community.

They’re dedicated to numerous charitable causes, including the Canadian Mental Health Association, the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation’s Run for the Cure and the Kelowna SPCA, just to name a few.

Their first show on 101.5 EZ Rock was Feb. 3, 2003.
