On Saturday morning locals and city officials gathered to celebrate the opening of the new Airport Plaza at 5538 Airport Way.
A project that has been underway since 2015, it was very exciting for attendees to see the newly opened On The Run gas station, Tim Hortons, and Freshii restaurant.
With 1.73 million stops in Kelowna this last year, the newly opened facility is not only an asset to those living in the area but tourists as well.
The growth of area has been exponential this year as the new Airport village also welcomed new businesses.
