The wealth advisors and executive teams at RBC Dominions Securities in Kelowna rallied together today to commit $100,000 to JoeAnna's House.

The gift comes as a pledge over five years, and rounds out a decade of giving totalling $200,000 to advance the standard of health care being delivered to residents in the southern interior region.

RBC Wealth Management Vice President and Branch Manager Mark Kinnear explained that the commitment was all about supporting health care initiatives.

"Dominion Securities is deeply committed to supporting health care initiatives that provide children and youth with access to the best health care possible in our community," said Kinnear. "In recent years, their interest has expanded to address the increasing need to support young people struggling with their mental health."

JoeAnna's house aims to provide a home away from home for families of APU patients who travel to the Kelowna General Hospital, something these two teams really appreciate.

“Wealth is so much more than just one’s finances. When we have the capacity to do so, it’s important to give back and to contribute to the health and well-being of our community.”
