(UPDATE: Dec. 10 @ 11 a.m.) - A lot Kelowna pig has been reunited with its rightful owners.

The adorable little animal belongs to the neighbour of Ashlie Lennox, who found him on Sunday.

"We heard someone calling down the streets, so we went outside and asked if he was looking for a pig," Lennox told KelownaNow. "Turns out he was, had little piggy treats, came in and scooped him up!"

"The pig wasn’t phased at all when he came in, so it was definitely his owner, as it took him time to warm up to us!"

It was quite the adventure for the little pig, who interestingly enough is named frog, but he was back at home with his family by 11 p.m. on Sunday.

(Original story: Dec. 9 @ 9 p.m.) - Every once and a while you’ll stumble upon a lost dog or maybe even a cat.

But have you ever walked outside to find a lost pig?

Ashlie Lennox was surprised with a knock on the door just a few short hours ago asking if she knew anyone who had lost a pig in her area, which is just off old Okanagan Road.

Fast acting Lenox grabbed her boyfriend and started to wrangle the scared, lost piggy.

“He was very cautious of entering my house. I bought the little guy lots of fruits and veggies and a litter box,” said Lennox. “We’re also about to get ready to give him a bath!”

Lennox has temporarily named her visitor Charlie, and although a nice surprise, she is hoping to find the owner soon.

“He’s an absolute angel! He's really well behaved,” says Lennox. “I introduced him to my dogs and he's super friendly.”

Lennox has been asking around trying to find the owner, however, she is being cautious in order to make sure they are, in fact, the pig's rightful owner.

Until then, Charlie will be getting more than enough love, attention and food.

Oddly enough, Lennox is the same person who stumbled upon a wingless bee who desperately needed her help!

It looks like Kelowna has their very own Snow White!
