The staff at Creative Roots Landscaping Ltd demonstrated how important they feel it is to give back to their community of Friday, July 28th.

Creative Roots donated $3,000 to Hope Okanagan to help them continue to help homeless and sexually exploited women in Kelowna’s downtown core.

Hope Okanagan provides night-time outreach, offering support and safety to women on the streets.

“We are growing so fast this year and just can’t keep up with some of the things we need,” explained Angie Lohr, President and Co-founder of Hope Okanagan.

The staff at Creative Roots give one hour of their time every week to contribute to the Community Give Back fund, and together they choose a charity that could benefit from their donation.

To date, Creative Roots has donated $118,000 in cash and in kind work to organizations in the community. If your cause is making a difference in the community, message them here to let them know why it’s close to your heart.
