The fourth edition on the Grenfell Road Haunted House was both the spookiest and the most successful yet.

A total of 5,022 people passed through the haunted house, raising $4,059 along with 4,420 pounds in food, for a total donation worth $15,109 to the Central Okanagan Food Bank.

"Our hearts are so incredibly filled with gratitude," said Tamie Williams with the food bank.

"The donations of food and funds collected during the run of this year's Grenfell Road Haunted House will enable us to continue to provide nourishment for our clients now and as we head into our Christmas operations."

Despite battling a rare autoimmune disease, homeowner and host Paul Cox served up his most elaborate display yet.

However, the Halloween savant said he simply couldn't have done the project without the amazing support from his friends and family.
