UPDATE: Missing Kelowna woman's body found, police say

(UPDATE: My 26 @ 8:43 am): The body of a missing woman, believed to be Kelly Joy Zuchotzki, has been found. 

She went missing on May 24 and her body was found on the evening of May 25, police said. 

The death is not considered suspicious. 

BC Coroners Service is investigating. 

(Original story: May 25 @ 11:45 am): The search is on for a missing Kelowna woman.

According to Facebook posts from her family, 58-year-old Kelly Joy Zuchotzki was last seen in the Glenmore area on Sunday.

The RCMP have now issued a release asking for public assistance in finding her.

She’s described as a 5’0”, 115 lbs Caucasian woman with brown eyes and brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a light grey jacket, jeans and blue runners.

Police are very concerned for Zuchotzki’s health and wellbeing, and those who know her say it’s out of character for her to be out of contact for this long.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact their local police or report tips anonymously to Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-8477.
