Mounties are searching for a stolen car they believe is connected to a Friday night stabbing in Kelowna.
A man in his 20s was knifed in the 1000 block of Wilson Avenue at about 9 p.m. on June 14.
Emergency crews found the man bleeding from an apparent stab wound and being given first aid by bystanders.
The man was taken to hospital with injuries that are not deemed life-threatening.
Police now want help to find a white 2013 four-door Dodge Dart they believe is associated with two male suspects.
It bears the B.C. plate: GX309E.
The suspects were wearing shorts and a T-shirt during the incident, the RCMP said.
One of the men was described as Asian, heavyset and balding.
“RCMP are actively searching for the crime vehicle at this time,” said Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey.
“Anyone who spots the Dodge Dart abandoned or mobile on our roadways is urged not to not approach it and call 911 immediately.”
He added: “RCMP have reason to believe this was an isolated event, and not a random attack.”
