For those of you who love the holiday season, you can find some comfort and joy in knowing Kelowna is set to host yet another Christmas-themed event!

The Okanagan ChristmasFest, presented by the Kanata Hotel & Conference Centre, is set to take place at the Rotary Centre for the Arts and will run from Dec. 14 to 16.

Inspired by European holiday aesthetics, the event will feature an outdoor market where visitors can savour hot cider and sweet treats, browse the wares of artisan vendors and enjoy live entertainment.

Inside, attendees can be dazzled while taking part in the Christmas Tree Walk which features sparkling trees decorated by sponsoring businesses. If you fall in love with one, you may even get to take it home, as the trees are set to be auctioned off on Dec. 17 to support a worthy cause.

The inaugural event has teamed up with the Central Okanagan Food Bank, donating funds from admission, tree sponsorships and the tree auction to help those in need this holiday season.

All of the festive fun begins on Friday, Dec. 14 at 4 p.m. with the man in red arriving at 6 p.m.! Admission is $5 at the door and little ones under 12 get in for free.

The event will carry on until 9 p.m. on opening day, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Dec. 15 and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Dec. 16, 2018.
