The proposed development would be located on two empty lots along Clement Avenue, between Ethel and Graham Street.

According to city planners, the extensive car wash could service a total of 16 vehicles at a time with both self-serving wash stalls and an automated wash.

The project would also include a convenience store on the southwest portion on the site at the intersection of Ethel St. and Clement Ave.

A gas bar would be located between the convenience store and the large car wash building.

The site has been used for a range of industry related activities such as the storage of boats, cars and antiques.

Council will only be considering a development permit as the site is already properly zoned for a gas station and car wash.
