Ok, so Kelowna’s iconic beaches may have seen better days, but the city is still buzzing with fun as summer officially kicks in.

Downtown patios are open, the wineries are serving, and Kelowna’s small businesses around the city are ready to entertain.

The fantastic weather also makes it the perfect time of year to hike the hills and check out a waterfall or two.

While Okanagan Lake is under a strict “no wake” rule, there is plenty of other, non-motorized ways to get out on the water.

You won’t hear many golfers complaining about the lack of beaches as Kelowna’s famous golf courses guarantee a good time on pristine greens.
