Okanagan Mounties seize stolen property valued at $300K

Mounties from Kelowna, Penticton and Lake Country seized stolen property estimated to be worth $300,000 earlier this month. 

Among the items retrieved from three properties in Lake Country and Penticton were nine trailers, 18 firearms, a crossbow and tools. 

Police said a 28-year-old Lake Country man was arrested on Jan. 13.

The RCMP said the discoveries were the result of an investigation initiated on Dec. 8, 2021.

That probe was begun after a series of heavy equipment thefts in the area.
