Maxime Bernier is coming to Kelowna for a weekend visit.

The People’s Party of Canada leader, who is the MP for the riding of Beauce in Quebec, will be hosting a fundraising dinner at the Delta Grand on Friday evening.

On Saturday, meanwhile, he will be hosting a rally and “show down” in Pioneer Town.

There will be activities for kids, hot dogs and a chance to meet Bernier.

On the Friday event – tickets for which cost between $75 and $300 – Bernier will be joined by Greenpeace co-founder Patrick Moore.

Local People’s Party candidates will also be present.
