The 10th annual BC Buy Local Week is here!

On the latest Conversations That Matter podcast, Sara Gouda and Jim Csek sit down with Amy Robinson, founder and executive director of LOCO BC, to discuss the importance and economic benefits behind supporting local businesses.

BC Buy Local Week, coordinated by LOCO BC, encourages shoppers to shift their spending towards local businesses and products when making holiday purchases.

“By shifting holiday spending towards locally-owned businesses, locally-grown and locally-made products, consumers can make more conscious choices and help keep up to 92% of the cost of the product in BC," said Robinson.

The BC Buy Local Week runs from Nov. 29 to Dec. 5 and is a partnership of leading BC municipalities, business groups and businesses across the province.
