Another Kelowna man, whose name has not been released, was also arrested.

The 42-year-old was later released on “strict conditions,” however, pending a court appearance.

“As a result of the continuing investigation, Kelowna RCMP [was] present at a residence in the 600 block of Gerstmar Road in Kelowna but have now released that scene,” the RCMP added.

An investigation is ongoing.

“We do not believe there is any risk to the public as a result of this incident,” said Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy.

“Due to the nature of this matter, we will not be releasing further information at this time.”
