The Kelowna RCMP has issued a public warning ahead of the anticipated return of what they call a “violent high-risk repeat offender.”

John Aronson currently has an unendorsed warrant out for his arrest.

According to police, the 35-year-old removed his electronic monitoring device and fled a recovery home in Surrey.

“He has a lengthy list of interactions with police in Kelowna, which is why the RCMP is anticipating his return to the area,” explained an RCMP release.

Aronson is described as Caucasian with multiple tattoos, standing 5’7” and weighing 155 lbs. He has dark brown hair and brown eyes.

The RCMP says Aronson is considered dangerous and should not be approached.

If you see him, you’re urged to immediately call 911 or the Kelowna RCMP detachment at 250-762-3300.
