UPDATE: Police locate missing Lake Country senior

(UPDATE: July 8 @ 1:30 pm) - Kelowna RCMP has located a missing Lake Country Senior. 

Police confirmed they had found 65-year-old David Anthony Jenken safe and sound. 

They would like to thank the public for their assistance in the case. 

(Original Story: July 4 @ 11 am) - Police in the Okanagan are on the lookout for a missing Lake Country man. 

According to Kelowna RCMP, David Anthony Jenken was reported missing by family and friends on Friday after they hadn't heard from him for a number of days. He was last seen in the Lake Country area around June 28. 

Jenken is described as a 65-year-old Caucasian man who stands at 5'9" and weighs 181 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes. 

The missing man is also associated with a 2003 grey Chevrolet Caval with the BC license plate "199 MGL."

"The Lake Country RCMP continue to look for David Jenken but as of today’s date, he has yet to be found at any locations he normally frequents," said Cpl Jocelyn Noseworthy. "Police have provided a photograph of Mr. Jenken in hopes someone in the community will recognize him and can assist with our efforts in locating him."
