Police searching for suspect after over $1K of skiing equipment stolen in Kelowna

Mounties are searching for a suspect after over $1,000 of ski equipment was stolen from a storage locker in Kelowna. 

The locker is in a building on the 1700 block of Chapman Place. 

It was raided at about 3 am on Jan. 12. 

Among the items taken were a set of Salomon skis, boots and poles. 

Police believe the thief is a man who was captured on a security camera. 

Anyone who can help identify the suspect is asked to call Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers’ anonymous tips line at 1-800-222-TIPS or visit their website at crimestoppers.net.    

Information could lead to a reward of up to $2000.
