A two-building, three-unit project is being proposed for Coopland Crescent, near Okanagan College.

In the rationale letter, the developer explains they received help from Lime Architecture Inc. on the design plans for the two-storey buildings.

“The design for 730 Coopland Crescent … was conceptualized in response to the back lane access and unique shape of the property,” explains the application.

“In order to take full advantage of the property proportions and orientation, Lime Architecture Inc. developed a duplex and single detached scheme with garages for all three units.”

The project would include two buildings.

Building one would be a duplex and the second building would be a single detached home. All three units would include three-bedrooms.

An interesting aspect of this development is that the garage for all three units would be built off the back of the single detached unit. Access to parking would be available off a lane way.

This application has been circulated around city hall and if no additional information is required, city staff will give the final consideration for the form and character of this project.

This property lies within the city's RU7 zone so the consideration is done at the staff level.
