RCMP hoping to return found cash to the rightful owner

Did you lose a quantity of Canadian cash today?

Kelowna RCMP are searching for the rightful owner after an unspecified amount of cash was discovered near Lakeshore Drive around noon.

“The money was contained and located on a street near Lakeshore Drive” States Cst. Lesley Smith of the Kelowna RCMP.

“We are holding back the details and exact denominations in an effort to return the money to its rightful owner”.

The cash was found by a member of the public who then turned it over to RCMP.
