RCMP investigating after Kelowna home targeted in shooting

Mounties are investigating a shooting at a Kelowna home last night.

They were called just before 11 pm about a report of gunshots in the 800 block of Kiniski Road.

“Frontline officers immediately attended the area and located evidence of gunfire that targeted a specific residence,” said Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy. 

“The residence was occupied by six adults.”

She added: “Fortunately, no one was injured.”

Police said an “extensive search” of the area concluded without any suspects being located.

Officers remain at the scene to collect evidence and speak to witnesses.
