Another nine holes of golf will be played by over 100 Okanagan citizens on Friday for the fourth annual Rene Bourgault Legacy Golf Tournament at the Sunset Ranch Golf and Country Club.

The golf tournament honours Rene, a former JCI member, who passed away in an accident almost four years ago after having started the tournament a couple of years prior.

Since his passing, the tournament has continued with the purpose of supporting young entrepreneurs who mirror Rene's ambitious behaviour.

"Rene believed in community, hard work & entrepreneurship. Funds raised by the tournament will be used to create a grant through Community Futures to provide start-up funding to an outstanding young entrepreneur in our community so they can achieve their dream," a description of the tournament reads.

On top of the nine holes of golf there will be mini games, including axe throwing, as well as a dinner served.
