Residents of Kelowna invited to vote on name of new 'mega' snowblower

The City of Kelowna has compiled a list of the top 10 names suggested for the newest addition to its snow removal fleet.

After putting a call out in December, the city received nearly 900 suggestions from residents of all ages.

Now, people can vote for their favourite name by visiting the online poll.

Those top names are:


The poll closes at 11:59 pm on Friday, Feb. 3 and the name with the most votes will win. An announcement is expected shortly after the votes are counted.

Now, here is where things get exciting. Whoever submits the winning vote will get a Snow Angels prize pack. 

The city says the winning submission will also get a deluxe snow blower experience, including a photo shoot and demonstration.
