Ballet Kelowna will soon mark its triumphant return to the stage with its presentation of Resurgence.

Featuring two world premieres and a returning favourite, the mixed program is a product of three emerging Canadian choreographers.

The Resurgence performance consists of  three sections that Simone Orlando, artistic director and CEO of Ballet Kelowna, delves into with KelownaNow.

In terms of what audiences can expect this November, Ballet Kelowna dancers shared some of their dance routine with KelownaNow, which is what audiences will see in next month’s performance.

Additionally, this year marks the 10-year anniversary of two professional Ballet Kelowna dancers, Desiree Bortolussi and Kurt Werner, who discuss their daily routine and some of their favourite dance moves.

Ballet Kelowna's performances will take place at the Kelowna Community Theatre on Nov. 5 and Nov. 6 at 7:30 pm.
