The city is advising Rutland residents to prepare for rolling road closures on Saturday for the annual Vaisakhi Parade.

The event will cause rolling closures from 11 am until 2 pm.

A news release from the city says Sumac Road, Sycamore Road, Wallace Road and Ortt Road will be restricted to local traffic from 9 am until 3 pm.

The Okanagan Sikh Temple and Culture Society says the parade kicks off at noon and all members of the community are invited to enjoy the parade, food and more.
