Mental health and lifestyle brand You Are Collective is hosting the second volume of their open mic series tonight for the Bell Lets Talk Day initiative.

The event encourages people to openly share their story and or thoughts on mental health and illness.

Hosts Michael Nolan, Rachel Udy, and Rebecca Steinhubl will introduce the night and then hand the mic off to the audience.

Contributors are encouraged to get as creative as they want in sharing their stories, experiences, ideas, resources, and anything else they choose.

The trio is excited to announce a new piece to the open mic platform which will be an optional additional five minutes of Q+A after sharing.

Moderated by the hosts, this addition to the platform allows a greater sense of community and ability to understand one another. It's also another opportunity to share resources, tips, and different ways of support.

The event takes place from 5 pm to 7 pm at Spaces at the Kelowna Innovation Centre at 460 Doyle Ave.
