With the school year slowly winding to a close, a few changes are ahead of Kelowna bus routes.

BC Transit and the City of Kelowna are adjusting service on five routes to match the demand of the summer season, when ridership demand is lower.

The adjustments allow the Kelowna Regional Transit System to provide more improved spring and summer service for users all over the city.

They also allow for more service during the school year, when ridership demand is much higher.

As of April 28, the following six routes will see reduced service:

Changes will also include the seasonal discontinuation of 13 Quail Ridge.
