Thousands of people are without power in Kelowna and West Kelowna.
More than 3,000 BC Hydro customers are without power along Boucherie Road and another 491 in Gellatly.
In the Bankhead and Pridham areas of Kelowna, meanwhile, more than 1,300 customers are affected by a separate outage.
The outages began after 11 am this morning.
The causes of the outages remain under investigation.
