Sip of Summer will return to Kelowna and it will happen on the longest days of the year.

The Canadian Craft Spirits Association festival will be held at the Rotary Centre for the Arts on Friday, June 21, and Saturday, June 22.

Friday’s festivities will centre around the Canadian Craft Spirits Championship, where the public will help a panel of judges choose winners of the competition.

There will be an array of premium craft spirits, local bites and entertainment like live music to keep people entertained.

Saturday is entirely about attendees, as there are a pair of 2.5-hour sessions where people can delve into a selection of spirits, wines, beers and ciders, along with culinary treats from local vendors.

The afternoon session will be held from 3-5:30 pm, followed by an evening session from 7-9:30 pm that also has an early entry at 6:30 pm.

"Join us for a fresh and fun experience that celebrates the incredible craft spirits produced across our beautiful country,” says David Mossman, executive director of the CCSA.

“Discover new favourites, engage with passionate distillers and become part of the dynamic craft spirits community."

For those who want to enjoy the festivities but don’t drink alcohol, there will also be non-alcoholic drink choices available throughout the event.

Tickets start at $35, and are available here, but you can currently snag them at a low early-bird price of $22.
