As the temperatures begin to drop across the Okanagan, the City of Kelowna will be closing the Kasugai Garden Park at the end of the month.

This park will reopen next spring.

Washrooms and water fountains at other Kelowna parks will be closed starting this Friday, Oct. 15.

However, washrooms will remain open at Stuart Park, Gerstmar Park, Boyce-Gyro Park, Rowcliffe Park and City Park during this time.

The Queensway Transit Exchange washroom will also remain open.

Keep in mind that water shut offs are necessary to prevent pipes from freezing over the winter.

All washrooms and water fountains are expected to reopen in early April if the weather allows.
