Upon arriving, crews reported a vehicle and a trailer were found to be fully engulfed, and smoke was seen coming from a nearby residence.

During fire suppression operations, the body of a male was located in the nearby residence.

While RCMP have not released the man’s name due to privacy reasons, he has been identified as a Kelowna resident in his mid 30’s.

“At this time, criminality is not suspected in the man's death and the BC Coroners Service is also investigating,” states Cpl. Stuart Smith of the Kelowna Regional Detachment.
