One of Kelowna's favourite holiday traditions is almost here.
Downtown Kelowna will be welcoming the holiday season on Saturday with its annual light up event.
The Downtown Kelowna Light Up event is returning with some holiday festivities to get everyone into the Christmas spirit.
At Stuart Park, there will be live entertainment, activities for kids, skating, food and a visit from the one and only Santa Claus.
This year, Downtown Kelowna organizers are introducing a new addition to the event - a Winter Street Market on Water St. beside the ice rink.
You’ll be able to get some shopping in at the curated artisan booths while enjoying the street food and treats, or sipping some hot chocolate by a cozy fire.
And of course, the night will be finished off by lighting up the spectacular giant tree.
