It may have been cold this week in the Okanagan, but the people of Kelowna pushed through it and managed to make the best of the not so ideal weather.

Snowmen, warm holiday drinks, and snow at the ski hills, and the early arrival of ice wine was the silver lining we all needed.

Mamas for Mamas also held a fundraising gala on Friday night, where guests partied for a purpose.

Despite the cold weather, guests made it out to the masquerade ball dressed up in their best masks and attire and enjoyed acrobatic performances, dancing, a live auction, and fortune telling, all while raising money for charity.

Also this week, Kelowna joined all of Canada in remembering our fallen soldiers and showing support and gratitude for those who continue to serve.
