Super Bowl weekend is here and there’s no shortage of places to watch the game.

For many, a casual Super Bowl party at home is an affordable way to watch the big game with friends, but for others, you have to be a part of the festivities at the bar.

The game will be on at pretty much any bar that shows sports on T.V., but there are certain places that will be more into the game than others.

From Super Bowl Sunday beer specials to crazy giveaways to free nachos, there are plenty of Kelowna establishments that will be partying on Sunday.

Here are a few of the best options if you want to get into the spirit on Sunday.

The Canadian Brewhouse

This might be the most obvious one, as the Canadian Brewhouse is a dedicated sports bar with over 50 televisions to watch the game on. With deals on poutine, pizza, highballs and tankards of beer, the Brewhouse is a good spot to be on Sunday.

O'Flannigans Pub

O'Flannigans is usually closed on Sundays, but the one exception all year long is for the Super Bowl. The bar will open at 2 p.m., giving you time to settle in and grab a couple of pints before the game starts. There are plenty of specials, a hot wing eating contest and lots of stuff you can win.

Dakoda's Sports Bar & Grill

The Super Bowl party at Dakoda's is put on by the Kelowna Jaycees and is the only one you'll need to buy a ticket for ($20). That ticket will certainly be worth it if you win one of two big prizes being given away, which are a 55" 4K T.V. and a La-Z-Boy recliner worth $1,600.

Mickie's Pub

Mickie's is always a good spot to watch sports and Sunday will be no exception. With deals on beef dips, buckets of Bud, caesars, screwdrivers and pints of Mickie's lager, your money will go a long way at this Super Bowl party. Plus you can win prizes during the game and they'll be giving away a Bud fridge at halftime.

Train Station Pub

You don't always think of Train Station when choosing a place to watch sports, but the downtown pub is an underrated one in that sense. Train Station has a number of specials set for Sunday, including a solid $15 deal for a burger, fries and a beer. You can also snag some free nachos if you're a group of 10 or more that pre-books a table.

The Packing House Pub

If you're a little outside the central Kelowna area, the Packing House Pub is a great spot to catch the big game. Steak sandwiches, bowls of chili and burger and fries combos are all just $7, and there are great deals on booze as well. There are also touchdown specials, football squares, plenty of prizes throughout the game and even a jersey giveaway.
