A Canada-wide manhunt is ongoing for a Toronto rapper who’s wanted for first-degree murder.

According to the Toronto Police Service, 22-year-old Hassan Ali is believed to have fled west across the country and investigators have pinpointed Kelowna and Calgary as likely locations.

“Investigators believe he has travelled to Kelowna and Calgary and are urging anyone with information to contact police,” explained a TPS release.

“No matter how insignificant the information may seem, all tips are important and could be key to the investigation.”

He’s wanted for the murder of Hashim Omar Hashi, 20, in Toronto in late January.

The TPS said that Hashi was shot multiple times while trying to drive his car into the garage of an apartment building in the Greater Toronto Area and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Ali was originally charged with accessory after the fact to murder, but that charge has since been upgraded to first-degree murder.

He’s considered violent and dangerous, and the public is warned to not approach him if found, but rather call 911 immediately.

Ali is better known to many around the Toronto music scene as the rapper Top5.

He famously received a shoutout from Drake back in 2014.

Typically active on Instagram, Ali hasn’t posted to his account since February.
