Trailer and UTV completely destroyed in suspicious Kelowna fire

An early morning fire at a southeast Kelowna gravel pit.

The Kelowna Fire Department responded to the fire at 7:20 a.m. on Thursday in the 4800 block of Stewart Road West.
 

The first arriving units discovered a semi-trailer fully engulfed in flames.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze using one engine and a water tender.

However, the trailer was completely destroyed, as was a UTV that was found on the property.

The fire has been deemed as suspicious and the RCMP are now investigating the incident.
