Temperatures are getting colder, and mechanic Chad Abougoush of Boyds Tire & Auto Service says “one little slip up can cause you quite a bit of money.”

“To get your car ready for winter you’re going to want to go through maintenance and the fluids, make sure the fluids are topped up and that they’re ready for the extremely cold weather conditions,” Abougoush explains.

Planning, and having a winter jacket and an emergency kit in your vehicle at all times, are good ways to be prepared for slippery roads.
