Knock on wood, but the Okanagan has been treated to relatively smoke-free summer in 2019.

Those clear skies are perfect for capturing ariel drone footage from high above the region's lakes, vineyards and golf courses.

Kelowna based videographer Sean Talbot used that opportunity to collect some seriously stunning shots from up and down the valley and has compiled them into a breathtaking video.

He shared the video on social media Friday morning, calling it a “little tribute to my hometown” and it has already racked up thousands of views.

Born and raised in Kelowna, Talbot now travels the world as a commercial photographer shooting architecture, hotels, resorts, real estate and more.

After spending over 20-years in the business, the recent rise of drone technology has allowed the artist to take his work to new heights capturing 24 megapixel and 6K video from above.
