Are we ready to shed the requirement for people to get vaccinated before they fly?
It depends on who you talk to.
The CEO of WestJet is urging the federal government to drop its controversial COVID-19 vaccine requirement for air travellers.
Alexis von Hoensbroech recently tweeted about his feelings on the question.

von Hoensbroech just assumed his role as CEO in February.
His comments come on the heels of the latest news from the federal government that keep the current restrictions in place until the end of June.

Most travellers we spoke to at YLW on Monday are comfortable with the requirements remaining in place for now.
"I just feel better when people have been vaccinated", said one man as he prepared to board his flight, "and if we have to wear masks, so be it."
"People safer on planes knowing that everyone else that is on that same plane that are travelling with you have been vaccinated," said one female air traveller.
But many people are ready to welcome unvaccinated fellow travellers aboard.
"I think it's time to let people travel and have some freedom again," said another woman outside the terminal building.
"I know there's a lot of pent-up worry about travelling, but you can put your mask on if you have that worry."
