After witnessing a hit-and-run incident, a Kelowna driver is trying to find the person responsible.

The driver who caught the incident on video, Jeremy, says it happened at the new intersection on Old Vernon Road and Rutland Road just before 6 a.m. today.

The incident occurs at the 1:20 mark.

The video shows what Jeremy describes as a black Dodge Ram with Alberta plates hit another vehicle. He adds that the driver of the truck didn’t even hesitate and took off.

“The van driver was ok. I made sure he was able to clear off the road,” Jeremy told NowMedia this morning. “The driver of the truck had Alberta plates and was probably a contractor in the area with all this construction nearby and the direction he was heading.”

He is asking that anyone who knows the driver please contact local RCMP immediately.
