Some of the lively reactions to the results of the election will be lacking once the polls close tonight.

The Conservative candidates in both Kelowna-Lake Country and Central Okanagan Similkameen will not be seen at public receptions this time around.

This year Tracy will be watching the results from home with her family," said Tracy Gray's Campaign Spokesperson Adam Wilson.

The incumbent candidate plans to put out a prepared video statement on social media instead.

"She’ll be available to speak to media tonight if the result is known," suggesting that reporters may be able to get some comments by phone.

"Our campaign is not holding a public event tonight," said Dan Albas' Campaign Manager Rob Murphy in an email.

He said Albas, the Conservative candidate in Central Okanagan Similkameen-Nicola "...will be releasing a video statement on election night evening, once the results of the riding are known."

The Liberals in the two ridings are keeping it small but will be surrounding themselves with supporters as the results come in, and they are both providing in-person media availability.

"Press is invited to Tim Krupa Campaign Headquarters," states an email from the Krupa campaign.

The Liberal candidate in Kelowna-Lake Country plans to deliver a speech at his campaign headquarters on Bernard Avenue after the results are in followed by an availability session with reporters.

Sarah Eves, the Liberal candidate in Central Okanagan-Similkameen-Nicola also plans a modest reception at a location in West Kelowna and is making herself available nearby for media interviews after the polls close.

NDP candidate Cade Desjarlais also plans to take in the results at home.

We've reached out to the PPC and Green candidates in Kelowna-Lake Country. There is no word yet on their plans for tonight as the results come in.

We'll have updated results here on kelownanow.com
