Kelowna is ever-changing, but it is good to know at least one restaurant is here for good.

CanadaMotorSports/Reel Life took to Youtube on Friday to share clips of Kelowna and Vernon in 1962. They dug up footage of the Dairy Queens in both Okanagan cities, and the ice cream shops have definitely upgraded over the past 60 years.

In the two minute video, viewers can see that the restaurants have walk-up windows for residents to pick up ice cream.

Behind the Dairy Queen in Kelowna is a "Standard" gas station. At the Vernon location, a Super-Valu, which is now a Staples, is also featured.

Neat!
