"We are pleading," said Kelowna RCMP Cpl. Tammy Lobb, "to anyone who used that dog park Sunday morning, prior to 8:45."

After the body of a woman was found at the Glenmore Dog Park Sunday morning, the RCMP are focused on what happened there that very morning.

"We want to get the message out to the public," said Cpl. Lobb.

A user of the park made the grisly discovery and called the RCMP.

When the police arrived they found the body near the parking lot at the southern end of the park.

"The Kelowna RCMP's serious crimes unit is conducting an investigation into the suspicious death of this woman," explained the corporal.

She told KelownaNow that investigators were still trying to confirm the woman's identity.

"We've established a serious crime tip line, and we're asking anyone who was at the dog park prior to 8:45 to give us a call," said Corporal Lobb.

She said that the call goes out, even to those who don't believe they saw anything of importance.

"There's no call too small and we want their information," she said. "Anyone who was there, our investigators want to speak to them."

A designated tip-line has been set up at 250-470-6236.
