Kelowna resident Jordan Powers maintains he doesn’t necessarily believe in aliens, but an occurrence on Thursday evening certainly left him wondering.
Around 5:30 pm in the Glenmore area, he spotted roughly 10 silver sphere like objects buzzing around high in the sky.
“I never thought I would be the ‘UFO guy’ calling into the news,” laughs the man behind the footage.
“I’m as skeptical as anyone, I’ve posted the footage to Reddit and some aviation groups looking for some answers and no one seems to have a good explanation.”
Powers admits he was a bit late to start filming, but roughly five seconds into the video multiple spheres do appear.
A popular response from people who have seen the footage is Elon Musk’s Space X satellite project, however, there are some notable differences.
The Space X satellites are generally spotted at night and footage shows the satellites move in a controlled linear fashion as opposed to buzzing around erratically.

A drone operator himself, Powers also considered the possibility of the phenomenon being a pack of drones, but with strict laws against flying at such a height, he doubts it.
